Customer: Nonprofit Organization
Situation: Customer produces a fundraising catalog with a bind-in envelope for donations. The catalog was a standard print job. The bind-in envelope was unique and no longer manufactured.
Solution: Symphony’s production manager and graphic designer collaborated to create a custom designed envelope with special gluing requirements to accommodate the customer’s need. |

Customer: Financial Services Company
Situation: Customer annually issues a financial report totaling more than 1,200 pages on a light weight (nearly tissue) paper, which is bound in hard cover. The customer came to us after experiencing several years of unsatisfactory service: skewed and missing pages, “bouncing” layout, missed deadlines.
Solution: Symphony’s document specialist devised a meticulous layout and production plan for this project. As a result, the project quality was preserved, and delivery was ahead of schedule. |
Imagining Possibilities
Customer: Hospital System
Situation: Customer distributes a “mini” pocket guide to patients. Due to its diminutive size and bindery requirements, the customer faced prohibitive costs and needed a more economical way to produce the piece. Some vendors had refused the project.
Solution: The production staff devised a layout and bindery process to eliminate multiple steps, thereby saving the customer both time and money. |
